This is the last week of Ramadan for 2014.
Muslims and their support for Shari'a Law in the United States has been steadily growing. What the media fails to show is the persecution of Christians in Islamic states (Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan). This persecution manifests as brutal torture and death of anyone remotely connected with Christianity.
Many people support the expression of Islam in the United States by citing Freedom of Religion; however, freedom of religion cannot come at the expense of FREEDOM. America was founded upon Biblical, Christian principles. The institute of Shari'a Law endangers everything America stands for and vitally endangers the lives of all Christians.
This video is by Dr. Bill Warner, a historian and commentator on Islam for the non-Muslim.
This is also dedicated to all my brothers and sisters who will be martyred for their dedication to Jesus Christ.
Status:
Hello, my name is Christine Ericson. This blog is so I might add my voice to the thousands of Christians who wish to speak out on their beliefs. I want to encourage those out there who, "have not bowed their knee to Baal," and to remind everyone that God's ultimate Will will be done.

Parents' Rights
As Christians, it is our duty to be active in politics. We are obligated to use the system of government given us to support freedom -- especially the freedom to share Christianity.
Before becoming active in politics, it is necessary to be INFORMED about what is going on in America and the rest of the world.
The world will know us by our love, but they will know our love by what we choose to be passionate and active about.
This is a mini-movie about the current American standing on parents' rights. I and many of my friends have been affected by these happenings.
Be informed. Take action.

Blood on the Nile

Joshua Perahia is a very good friend of my family. He just wrote and produced this song about the war in the Middle East. Joshua is about to come out with a new album and this is the first single.
"Blood on the Nile" is about how after thousands of years, people are still dying in the Middle East. This is a very real and patriotic song! May God Bless America!

Taking the Census
Article 1; Section 2
(Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.) (The previous sentence in parentheses was modified by the 14th Amendment, section 2.) The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct. The Number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand, but each State shall have at Least one Representative; and until such enumeration shall be made, the State of New Hampshire shall be entitled to chuse three, Massachusetts eight, Rhode Island and Providence Plantations one, Connecticut five, New York six, New Jersey four, Pennsylvania eight, Delaware one, Maryland six, Virginia ten, North Carolina five, South Carolina five and Georgia three.
Let's narrow that lot a bit so I get get to the meat of the issue...
"Enumeration"
That was easy wasn't it? So, the government is allowed to "enumerate" the population once every ten years. Let's look at what the word "enumerate" means...
e·nu·mer·ate
–verb (used with object), -at·ed, -at·ing.
1. to mention separately as if in counting; name one by one; specify, as in a list: Let me enumerate the many flaws in your hypothesis.
2. to ascertain the number of; count.
So, our government is allowed to count the population -- as in one, two three, the end!
With that in mind we -- under the Constitution -- are ONLY REQUIRED to state the unber of people within our households. (Now to the actual story.)
My father, being the leader of the house, received his copy of the census and answered the only question Constitutionally required (the number of persons in his home). He wrote down then number 4 and mailed the census back, all other questions blank. Several weeks later (just a few days ago now) a person who was part of the census bureau came knocking on our door. Dad answered it and the lady proceeded to ask him questions. My father politely stated the facts to here, the only thing he was required to give was the number of people in his house -- four. Not even his name or the names of the persons are required.
The lady was quite flustered and stated that if he -- my dad -- did not give the information to her someone else would come. Dad staunchly stood on his rights and refused to give out any personal information.
What in the world is the government trying to do by taking ALL of our personal information??? What business do they have with my social security number? my salary? my bill information? my personal setup? my standards of living? or whatever other questions they could possibly come up with?
My family has desided to stand upon our Constitutional right to NOT give out our personal information to strangers! -- yes my friends, I consider any government employee a stranger! We do not have to stand for giving up our personal information! Stand on your rights and give them their only legal, Constitutional answer, the number of people within your home!
This video says it all...

Do Not Accuse Without Allowing Defence!
The thing that I love to see is whenever Conservatives and Liberals try to interview each other. Invariably what happens is the Liberals get flaming red hot mad and refuse to allow the Conservative to speak, while Conservatives on the other hand allot as much time as necessary for the Liberal to state his point of view.
What cracks me up, is Mr. Ratigan asked Mr. Williams (TEA party organizer) a question and for some reason, won't allow him a moment's breath to speak. Why in the world did you have him on your show then, Mr. Ratigan?!? XD
Anyway, here is the link to the main article, and you can view the video for yourself...

Universal Healthcare
We are living in a world where government is god. If we just do what our politicians say we will have all of our needs met for us without any real effort on our part. But if we really look at government throughout history, it has always made situations worse. Evil men always seek places of power and will lie, cheat and steal to achieve their goals.
One of our current hubbubs is Nationalized Health care. Government providing all the means for everyone in America to receive health care sounds like a great idea, but what would it really do to the system? Watch this video for a brilliant illustration...
